Charm is the grand matriarch of our Lamancha herd; she does it all, milks, shows, and reproduces.  On top of all that, she is one of the sweetest, most affectionate goats we have ever had the opportunity to own.  There are so many things to love about her.  In 2004 alone, she produced the Junior Champion, 1st place yearling milker, and a Spotlight Sale buck...WOW!  What more can be said.  In 2004 her daughters were 2nd place Produce of Dam at the ADGA National Show, and her three year old daughter was named National Champion.  That makes the count two National Champions she has reproduced.  She herself was 5th place in the seven and older class.  What can we say - she is nothing short of amazing.  Also,  Charm sons are also beginning to make an impact.  Her son, Kickapoo Valley Real Charmer was the sire of the third place two year old in 2006 and this year he was the sire of the 4th and 5th place four year old.  Again we thank the Webb's at South Fork for allowing Charm to help make Kickapoo Valley Lamanchas what they are today. Charm has not cooperated for the last two years, but we try again in 2008 - she would be bred to *B ROCKIN-CB KV WILD THING.

Panera is a very lovely doe who really excels in her mammary attachment.  However, it has taken her a very long time to mature.  She has always placed well at the ADGA National Show, 7th as a yearling, 12th as a two-year old,  5th as a three year old, and 8th as a four year old despite her lack of size.  Last year she 14th and this year she was 5th.  Yet she did top the aged doe class most of the year and did go champion one time.  She excels in all other areas of the score card as evidenced by her appraisal score.  We loved the breeding to *B TEMPO IRON CROSS last year and have repeated it this year.

To say we were shocked to win National Champion with Sequel was an understatement.  It is not that we didn't think she was an exceptional animal, it was that she still had some maturing to do.  Two year's ago we said that Sequel was one of the most exciting does on the farm from her beautiful blending of her front end to a mammary system that is flawless.   She was rewarded for this strong general appearance when the judges at the National Show in 2006 agreed that she excelled the other does in general appearance.  She was 1st udder and Reserve Best Udder.  All of this after a tumultuous kidding in which she did not dilate and the single buck kid had to be pulled.  In 2007 she was a bit uneven, but managed to place 3rd - in 2008 she came back even and once again placed 3rd.    Her son was at work in the Tempo Lamancha herd and now is in Kansas in the herd of Tecoa Seibert's and is siring some outstanding offspring.  One daughter was third place milking yearling at the 2006 National Show and is the dam of one of our herdsires, Tempo Iron Cross.  Other does in the Moss Ridge and Barnowl herds are exceptional as well.  Obviously Sequel is leaving her mark on the breed not only as a show doe, but also through her offspring.  Sequel  was bred to  *B KASTDEMUR'S AIN'T MISBEHAVIN; we are retaining all doe kids.

Tang is the grand-daughter of the 2005 ADGA National Champion, Slice, and she resembles Slice in a lot of ways.  She is tremendously tall, is incredibly dairy, and has a capacious mammary system.  However, we would like to change her overall teat placement and make her more level in her topline; as a three year old she started to bring it all together and was 3xGCH as well as 2xBOB over Sequel.  At the National Show she placed 9th in a very competitive class. This year Tang was 4xBOB and 4th place Four year old at the ADGA National Show.  Tang will be bred AI to WINTERWOOD'S MUSICIAN or naturally to *B KASTDEMUR'S AIN'T MISBEHAVIN.

Tirade has been outstanding from the time she was born.  As a senior kid and a dry yearling, she was Token's nemesis topping her many times.  We bred her as a kid, but unfortunately she aborted.  When she freshened as a two year oild, she had an outstanding mammary system - and she milked.  She couples her udder attachment and production with stellar general appearance.  She completed her championship in the first three shows of her first freshening and went on to place 10xGCH , 1xBOB (topping Sequel) and 1xBIS.  Obviously she is real beauty.  Tirade was 3rd place at the ADGA National Show in a very competitive class. This season she re-freshened after her year off and was a bit uneven.  She did manage to place 5th in the Four year old class at the National Show.   What we find amazing about this doe is that she is so much like her dam, but maintains the dairy character from her sire's side.   Tirade is bred to *B TEMPO IRON CROSS

Token was the 2004 ADGA National Junior Champion and had an exciting show career as a dry.  When she freshened it was horrendous.  Firstly, she had triplets as a first freshener, but one of the kids came hours after the other two kids.  Token came into very little milk and was virtually bones for the first month she was fresh.  Then, after much attention we got Token into show shape.  She placed immediately behind Tirade all season long and she managed to place 2nd and go Reserve a large number of times - enough to garner at least one more leg.  2007 was another interesting freshening for Token - this year the opposite of last - a single buck kid left her heavy and with little milk.  At the time of National entries she was only milking about 10 squirts, but we worked on her and she looked good by July when she placed 10th at the National Show.  She did manage to finish her championship going 2x GCH and 1x BOB.  She has a buck kid in the herd of the Shramm's in Nebraska.  Token did not freshen in 2008.  She is bred to *B TEMPO IRON CROSS.

Venom is our last Revolt daughter and continues the excellence in this line, She has a fabulous mammary system and is very wide throughout.  However, she is a bit more short coupled than we would prefer.  She placed first nearly every show this year and was 3x1st and 1xBest Udder.  At the National Show she was 6th place.  There are many things we would change about this doe, but her flawless mammary system and pretty general appearance make her an easy keeper.  We also do not agree with her appraisal score.  We would like to see her with more ease of motion and a bit stronger feet.  Venom is bred to *B TEMPO IRON CROSS.

We thought that this doe could be nice and she did not disappoint us when she freshened.  She looks a lot like her paternal sister Revolt.  She is so correct in general appearance with a lovely udder especially the rear udder.  We would like to see her with a bit smaller teats.  She was 9X1st as a yearling 5th at the National Show.  In 2008, she had to compete against her two sisters and was 3x1st and 2xGCH; she was 6th place Two Year old at the ADGA National Show.  She also is a strong producer - her daughter Xpress is one of our best yearlings and her doe kid Yonder is lovely. We also did not agree with her appraisal score. She is bred to *B ROCKIN-CB KV WILD THING.

We have an addiction - we have fallen in love with Whisky.  As a kid she was always okay, but as a dry learning she blossomed placing 4xGCH and 7th at the National Show.   Whisky freshened in late February, but as of January 1st her udder had grown to be quite large so we started milking her early.  The udder continued to grow and grow and knowing that she was more important than the kids she was carrying, we induced her - sadly, she delivered two dead doe kids.  It then took her a long time to come into milk, but when she did, WOW!  This udder is really amazing especially its length of fore udder.  She could be a bit more level across the topline but otherwise she is beautiful.  She was 2xGCH, 1XReserve, 1xBIS, and 2nd/2nd udder at the 2008 ADGA National Show.   She is bred to ROCKIN-CB KV WILD THING.

Wren was the 2nd place Junior Kid at the 2006 National Show.  In 2007 she was 2x1st and 1x Reserve; she placed 19th at the National Show.  We really didn't know what to expect when she freshened, but she pleasantly surprised us.  This udder is outstanding, and barn records show her peaking at nearly 14lbs as a first freshener as a single kid.  During the season she was 3x1st, 1xGCH, and 1xReserve.  She is also the dam of the 2008 Reserve National Junior Champion, Kickapoo Valley Wild Yellobird.  We are repeating the breeding to *B  ROCKIN-CB KV WILD THING.

Wilma was our bonus!!! When Iron Cross came home to us, he was only two and a half weeks old; Wilma was two and a half days old when she came to us (thanks Laurie).  She has grown into a nice de with a lot of correctness especially on the topline and in feet and legs. She was 4x1st and 6th place dry yearling at the National Show.  We are giving her one more chance to freshen - if she does she will be 1st freshening 3 year old.  If she freshens, she should be worth it.  Wilma is being bred to *B  ROCKIN-CB KV WILD THING.

Xtrovert was a pretty kid in 2007, but while she was pregnant over the winter she became very bowed in her fore legs - the pregnancy really took a toll on her whole body.  It literally took her months before her feet began to straighten out - even this fall they are not perfect, but look better.  She is very dairy with an exceptionally attached udder.  The teats are very plumb and shie is particularly long about the fore udder.  She placed 20th at the ADGA National Show just making the cut.  We like the breeding of Xtrovert to *B TEMPO IRON CROSS - these kids will be linebred on Sequel.

Xpress really is an improvement over her dam in length of the fore udder - but most of the season she was looked at as being cute and immature.  Like her dam she is very dairy with sharp withers and clean bone.  Overall, the udder is very nice, but her teats could be a bit more plumb.  She was 3x1st this season and placed 12th at the ADGA National Show.  Sadly we lost this doe at the beginning of November.
