Wild Thing is a beautiful young buck. He is incredibly long bodied and uphill...just the look of the modern Lamancha. You combine that looks with his dam's mammary system and these lines should be incredibly potent for the right kind of Lamanchas. We actually really liked Tease's lines and noticed her at the National Show when she was 2nd place milking yearling with 1st udder. Tease's dam, Prankster is one of our favorites and we are not disappointed as we cross these lines. We freshened two daughters this Spring and both excelled in the mammary system. He also sired the Reserve National Junior Champion at the ADGA National Show. We have used him quite a bit this fall and should have semen available soon.

This buck's pedigree reads like a who's who of the Lamancha breed right now. In his immediate pedigree he has the 2006 National and Reserve National champions. His dam, Jamie, was 3rd place milking yearling and is sired by a Kickapoo Valley buck, Sequel's son. Jamie's dam is the incomparable Nadia who has consistently placed at the top of the line at National Shows and in 2006 her daughter was the high selling doe Lamancha doe in the Colorama Sale. The sire's side contains the best of the Kastdemur's does with the lovely Evian - the 2008 ADGA National Champion - she is truly a really breathtaking doe. We look for amazing things from this buck. He has one of the widest and highest escutcheons we have ever seen. He couples that with lovely dairy character. He will be bred to some of our best does, so hopefully we will get a sense of what he will do this year. He has a tendency to not throw many does, but this year his dry yearling daughter was 3rd dry yearling at the National Show. We will have semen available soon.

Ripit is all angles - he is moderately tall, but very correct in his rear leg set and strength of feet. He is incredibly dairy with wide, flat ribs and impeccably sharp withers. His first doe kids are very similar - they are long legged, sharp, and dairy. They are particularly nice in their rear leg set; however, he only throws moderate bone - some daughters are a little bit too fine boned, but they mature nicely. We hope that he throws the udders that are in this line, and we will be very happy with him in the future. We hope to use him at some point - he is out on lease in the Koopman's Lamancha herd.

We are very excited with this buck kid - he is tall, clean boned - like most of the Kastdemurs animals - and he has a great personality. Given his lineage, he should be a very nice cross for us. He will be bred to as many does we can breed him to. His dam was 5th place Two Year old at the 2008 ADGA National Show - his granddam was 2nd place Four Year Old - his paternal sister was the 2008 National Junior Champion - so what can you say about his genetics.
