Scandal is one of our favorites, and we said after her yearling year that if she comes in with a lot of milk she would be something...and she has not disappointed us.  In 2007, triplet bucks again made her milk and look the best in her life.  She was 10xBOB and 5XBIS  and was 7th at the National Show, placing lower than her 2nd the previous year in the three year old class.  In 2008 her twin does by Saga allowed her to milk well and show well.  She was again 2nd place with 2nd udder and comprised 4 more BIS wins.   She also has passed her strengths on to her offspring.  Her daughter, Violence, finished her championship and went one time Best in Show last season.  In 2009 she was  6xBOB and 3xBIS.  She was the dam of our 2009 Spotlight Sale Consignment, Kickapoo Valley A Zeus Scandal.   Scandal was 3rd place with 3rd udder at the 2010 ADGA National Show.  In 2010 she has was 8xBOB and 2xBIS.  In 2011 she has been 1xBIS and was 5th place at the 2011 ADGA National Show.

Whimsay, the 2006 Junior National Champion, was a repeat breeding that we made three years ago.  We really liked the daughters, but had sold them both, so we were thrilled when there were three does and one buck.  From the start, Whimsay was the star - she was 5x1st, 2x2nd, and 4xBIS as a kid.  She did not disappoint us when she freshened as a yearling.  Her mammary system was very similar to that of Tradition, and much of her yearling year, judges had a a difficult time believing she was a yearling.  She had triplets as a yearling and all three were sold across the United States.  In 2008, Whimsay had a single buck out of ++*B Hoach's Lyric Liason; he now resides in the Roeburn herd and is siring some outstanding offspring with many bucks around the United States now being sired by him including a number of high placing at animals at the 2011 ADGA National Show including the 1st and 4th place milking yearlings..  Whimsay is huge (35 inches at the withers), but she is also a mile long.  Even though she again had a single in 2009, she still milked well and did very well in the showring. 2010 was a rough year for Whimsay, she milked too much and had a bout with mastitis, but came back in 2011 and has shown very well.  She has been 1xBIS and was 7th 5-6 year old at the ADGA National Show.  Two of her buck kids are in CT and WI herds this year.

Always in the shadow of the other doe kids in 2007, Xylophone did not start her show career looking as if she would be a winner.  However, when she freshened we knew she was a winner.  The udder is fantastic - she is tall and dairy - just a complete package in a young doe.  She was 8x1st in 2008 including her win at the ADGA National Show - she was also first udder.  She is a granddaughter of Music and looks as if she could be the next in the line of National Show winners.  Xylophone looked and milked exceptional in 2009 even though she began the season with a difficult bout of mastitis.  She was 5x1st and 2xReserve CH while milking nearly 13 lbs a day.  In 2010, Xylophone aborted three weeks before she was due and was not fresh in 2010.  This season she has been many times 1st and 1xGCH and 1xReserve.

Yuppie is a linebred Saga daughter.  She is very tall, sharp and dairy with a nearly ideal rear udder. In 2009 she was 3x1st.  We love her dairy character and upstanding nature.  Yuppie showed and milked well this past season going 5x1st and 3x ResCH.  In 2011 she has been one of the stars of the showring placing 4xGCH and 1xReserve.  Unfortunately she became ill after an early July show and has since been dried up.  We believe she would have placed very high at the National Show.  Her two year old daughter was 2nd and 3rd udder two year old.  We will repeat that breeding in the fall.

Yodel is a lovely daughter of Music - her udder is similar to her dam's, but a bit wider.  She was 1x 2nd and 1x 3rd in 2009.  We were hopeful that another freshening would make her very competitive, and we were not disappointed in 2010.  We love her upstanding nature and udder shape.  She also has a very nice daughter fresh out of Saga.   In 2010 she  was 5x1st, 3x2nd, 3xGCH, and 2xReserve.  In 2011, Yodel was 3xBOB and 5th place three year old at the 2011 ADGA National Show.

Zevya was 1xGCH as a kid and many times 1st.  In limited showing, Zehava, our 2009 ADGA Spotlight Sale doe and Zevya's twin, was 3x2nd and 2xReserve Champion.    Zevya freshened late and is one of our most exciting young does...her udder is exceptional.  She place 4th and 3rd udder at the 2010 ADGA National Show.  She was 7x1st 1x2nd, and 1x3rd in 2010.  Most of this season, Zevya has been in the shadow of Zamboni, but she is a beautiful doe.  Her 2011 buck kid went to Jill Lane's herd in Canada.

As a doe kid Zealot was the star of the season - she was 8x1st, 3xGCH, 5xReserve, and 1xBIS.    Zealot has the whole package and her mammary system is one of the strongest attributes especially the rear.  Over her dam she already shows the capacity of the mammary system that Scandal always has lacked!  She was 5x1st and 3x 2nd in 2010.  She was 9th at the ADGA National Show.  In 2011 she began slowly, but blossomed after the National Show going 4xGCH and 2xReserve finishing her championship.

Zamboni is a classic cou blanc - she is long and dairy.  From the moment she was a kid, we recognized something very special about her - that all bloomed when she was a dry yeraling.  In 2010, she was 4x1st, 2xGCH, and 2xBIS - she was 14th place dry yearling at the ADGA National Show.  In 2011, she freshened with a lovely udder.   She has been 10x1st, 3xGCH, and 1xReserve.  She was 2nd with 3rd udder at the 2011 ADGA National Show.

Not as correct in rear leg set or front end assembly as many as a kid it didn't stop Zenith from going 1xGCH in 2009.  In 2010 she was 2x1st, 2x2nd, 1x3rd, and 1xResGCH - 13th at the ADGA National Show as a dry yearling.  It took her a while to develop after a very difficult kidding, but when she placed second to Zamboni prior to the National Show, we knew she had to go with the other two year olds.  Zenith was 3x2nd, 2x3rd, and 1x4th this past season.  We look forward to another freshening with her.

Amish and Amen both earned  their dry legs in 2010.  These does were two of our fanciest kids born in 2010.  Amish was 1st place senior kid and  Amen was 6th place Senior kid at the 2010 ADGA National Show.  Both does freshened very well, but had single births...we want to see them next year after another freshening.  These does were 6th (Amen) and 7th (Amish) yearling milkers at the ADGA National Show.
