SAGA'S
DAM - SGCH STARDUST CORDITE SABA 12*M
Saga’s
dam was the unbelievable GCH Saba who only seemed to get better with age. Saga
seems to be doing the same thing - he just produces better and better offspring the older he
gets. Likewise, the daughters seem to get
better every year as well. Saba was an incredibly deep
and powerful doe with superb feet and legs.
We brought Saga here to use because we wanted some of those

AMNESTY'S DAM SGCH REDWOOD HILLS EMBER AMICALE 8*M
2007 ADGA NATIONAL SHOW RESERVE CHAMPION
To say that we are thrilled when Amnesty was born would be an understatement. For many years we have admired the Profecy doe line - pre-ordered bucks, but one was never born. When Ed judged REDGA, he came home talking about a very nice Ember daughter named, Amicale. When she won her class at the National Show in 2005, we really appreciated her dairyness coupled with her extreme will to milk, and we knew we had to have a buck. Amnesty looks much like the Profecy line, not only in type, but also in coloration. His primary function was to be to bred the Saga daughters. We only freshened one doe this past spring and she was an improvement over her dam. This spring we were stingy and did not sell as many of his daughters so we will freshen four this spring. We have sold Amnesty, but have ample semen left from him to use in the future. Semen is available from us at $25 a straw.

ALCATRAZ'S DAM MUNCHIN HILL A LA CARTE - 11th place two year old ADGA National Show
Alcatraz was pre-ordered this last year, and he really combines so many of the lines that are currently in our herd. The sire, Romulus, is well known in Alpine circles. He has produced a number of nice daughters - Raisa was a Rishona daughter and Rico goes back on some of our first Hoach's bucks we had. Furthermore, the dam's side includes Entienee who is a full brother to Amnesty's dam's sire, Ember and Munchin Hill Annie's dam is CH Kickapoo Valley Liason Nexine. So to say that he will combine is an understatement. Besides that, he is a beautiful black buck with a lovely temperament and strong general appearance, as we would expect from a Munchin Hill animal.

JAGGED EDGE'S DAM - GCH WILLOW RUN WONDER JASMINE - 1st place milking yearling 2006 ADGA National Show
We feel very blessed that we were able to add this young buck this spring. Like his dam he is all legs and about a mile long. We love the length and stretch that Jasmine shows and that is one of the primary reasons we wanted a buck out of her. Another reason she is such a fine choice for a buck is because she has such a terrific mammary system. He also has behind his dam's pedigree some of the nicest animals ever bred at Willow Run. We will use him primarily on does with good width as he is a bit more narrow than we desire; however, we are not afraid of breeding him to some of our nicest does.

CH KICKAPOO VALLEY CAL REASON - dam of You Gotareason
We sold Reason this spring as she was a bit uneven, and we didn't feel that she was that competitive in the showring anymore. However, Reason was often a favorite of ours especially for her size, scale, length of body, coupled with her very strong mammary system. In 2006 she was the 3rd place Four year old at the ADGA National Show. Bred to Amnesty, this buck kid is beautiful especially in his shoulder assembly and set to the rear legs. One of the reasons we felt we could sell Amnesty was because we had this guy who was very ill as a young kid, but has shown us that he is a survivor. We will only use him on a few animals this year as he spent most of his time out on lease.
