WILD
THING DAUGHTER - KICKAPOO
VALLEY WILD XCELSIOR (deceased)
Wild
Thing is a beautiful buck. He is incredibly long bodied and
uphill...just the look of the modern Lamancha. You combine that looks with
his dam's mammary system and these lines are incredibly potent for the
right kind of Lamanchas. We actually really liked Tease's lines and
noticed her at the National Show when she was 2nd place milking
yearling with 1st udder. Tease's dam, Prankster is one of our favorites
and we are not disappointed as we cross these lines. He has not
disappointed us with the daughters he has sired. He first sired the Reserve National Junior Champion at the ADGA National Show in 2008,
GCH Kickapoo Valley Wild Yellobird. Yellobird went on to be National
Senior Champion in 2011!!! He won Premier Sire with only four daughters
placing at the National Show including two milkers, a dry yearling, and one doe
kid. We
have semen available .

DAM & GRANDAM - UP YOURS & BEHAVE YOURSELF
We
are very excited with this buck - he is tall, clean boned - like most of the
Kastdemur's animals. Given his lineage, he
should be a very nice cross for us and has not disappointed us. His dam was 5th place Two Year old at the 2008 ADGA National
Show and 1st place Three Year old at the 2009 ADGA National Show - his granddam was 2nd place Four Year Old
and 2nd place Five/Six Year old this year - his paternal sister was the
2008 National Junior Champion - so what can you say about his genetics.
His daughters excel in topline and set to rear legs. He sired the 2010 and
2011 ADGA National Show Junior Champion
and his offspring was 1st place Junior Get of Sire in 2010. He also now has
one finished daughter available. We have not used him heavily this year,
but intend on using him more in the future. We now have semen
available.

Azkaban
was born to us after we purchased Goldie bred. This buck is
tall and very correct in his set to the rear legs, strength of feet and legs as
well as width throughout. We feel very blessed with this guy given his
pedigree. He also should cross well given his dam's sire. His
first kids are very strong including his daughter Bern who was 4xBIS this year.

We
purchased this buck this spring from Megan Lawrence and want to say thank you
for breeding such a wonderful animal. He could be a bit smoother in the
shoulder, but he has gotten so large so fast that it doesn't concern us. At
a year and a few months of age, his shoulders have really gotten better.
He is a lovely buck. He is one of the few bucks I have that I say there is
little about him I would change. He has perfect
rear leg set - is long, tall and dairy. What else could you ask for? We
have a large set of kids out of him that look very nice this spring.

We really
liked the overall cross between Yellobird and Beam Me Up - we have decided to
retain one of the buck kids and will use him this fall.
